Hello everyone,
I wanted to make sure everyone understood what is going on with Boys Soccer this school year. I know that the School along with the School District have been communicating with everyone throughout these strange times everyone is going through.
We are very fortunate to be able to conduct training and are looking forward to it although we will be limited to what we can do the ability to meet in person is a step forward. Our booster President Jennifer has emailed everyone our plan which provides information on what your student/athlete will need to bring to practice please make sure they come prepared. Both Jose and I have spent some time out at Marina this past weekend marking the field to ensure that all players will be keep a social distance from each other throughout our training.
At this time we will only have all returning players in our 6 period class no Freshmen.
We will look at announcing tryouts as soon as we are able to resume normal practice and scrimmages. Some returning players where not added to 6 period soccer class it could be you are assigned to another sport which you play and is in season or just a clerical mistake in which case you can reach out to our Athletic Director Michelle Spencer and request that you get added to the class.
Our schedule at this time will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. there will be zero tolerance for those students who are unable to follow the instructions provided as we are wanting to ensure all our students and coaches safety. If your student is unable to follow the instructions and puts others in an unsafe situation he will be removed from the class and be assigned another class by the school. I'm relying on you parents to ensure that your student understands what is expected from them and what they need to bring with them to all training.
